The Frontier Titer Project
 
We've been doing this "project" awhile, makes me a believer in Intervet's Progard vaccines for sure!

In case you had an interest, Progard and Continuum was the same vaccine except Continuum was licensed as a 3 year vaccine
NOTE the vaccines have changed names due to a company sale.

The Cornell lab consider anything 1:32 and up is good for Distemper and 1:80 and up for parvo.
Although Dr Schultz and Dr Dodds research indicates ANY level of titer is protective see this article and this one

Tests were done at the laboratory named
Dogs with a * next to their name do not live with us
ALL dogs are Rottweilers unless noted differently

Her litter was very ill at 9 weeks with some "Southern illness" brought up by rescue dogs
So we did have to re vaccinate them because they were too ill right after vaccinating to seroconvert immunity

Progard/Contiuum Vaccine new names and descriptions
Below is the chart telling you which vaccines will be what. NOTE not all vaccines with the same names are former Progard products! (Remember all Progard and Contiuum products are the same just different label for 1 yr and 3 yr licensing)
 
Notice that the Progard 5 is going away. The closest thing to it will be the Nobivac® Canine 3-DAPv.
 
Also "going away" is the Progard CPv and the closest thing to that will be Nobivac® Canine 3-Pv (which is actually Progard CPV in it's 3 year Continuum label)
